I recently had the opportunity to stay at Bohemian Garni, nestled in the heart of Belgrade. The location is fantastic - just steps away from Skadarska Street, buzzing with restaurants and quaint shops. A 10-15 minute stroll will lead you to Republic Square and the fortress. The reception staff, including the lovely Nevena, truly aim to please. They provided organized assistance and made me feel welcomed. The upper rooms offer a surprising quietness despite being on a lively street, which is quite a feat! My room featured a mini-bar and an electric kettle, perfect for that early morning cuppa. I appreciated the free toiletries, soundproofed walls, and air conditioning, which added to my overall comfort. The hotel does have its quirks, but given the central location and a 24-hour reception service, the value proposition is generally appealing. For a wildlife conservationist like me, it's important that your accommodations complement your travel experience without breaking the bank. Bohemian Garni fits the bill for those seeking a practical, yet enjoyable stay in Belgrade.
